Daniel graduated from Kings College London in 2006.

Daniel is a cosmetic dentist with extensive orthodontic experience in complex Invisalign cases, composite bonding, porcelain veneers and whitening. He loves the positive impact this has on his patients’ lives.

Daniel has been a dentist in the Great Dunmow and Takeley area for over 19 years. As much as he enjoys complicated cosmetic cases, he still gains enormous satisfaction in general dentistry and seeing his regular patients for a check-up / catch-up.

Daniel was born and raised in Essex. He enjoys spending time with his young family, gardening and when allowed DIY.

Katy trained at Newcastle Dental school and qualified in 2005 with a distinction in restorative dentistry.

She particularly enjoys treating nervous patients and children and carrying out all types of treatment including metal-free restorations, tooth whitening, Invisalign braces and veneers. Katy understands the importance of listening to patients and keeping you at ease.

Katy has three young children and in her (spare) time, she enjoys cycling, swimming, sailing and cooking. Katy is local to the practice and lives in Mersea.

Katy is also a founding partner of our two other practices located in Essex: Dental Smiles Flagstaff and Dental Smiles Chelmsford.

Andy trained at Newcastle Dental School and qualified in 2009.

He has an interest in cosmetic, restorative dentistry and dental implants, alongside being an experienced Invisalign® provider as well as facial aesthetic treatments such as Botox.

He enjoys taking on challenging full mouth cases and is very experienced in combining restorative, orthodontic, cosmetic and tooth replacement.

He also enjoys the variety of general dental treatments and the ongoing care of his patients having worked in the same area for the past 15 years.

He has been placing dental implants for over 10 years; from single teeth to full arches and bone grafting procedures and places hundreds of dental implants each year. He helps patients understand all the options to establish together the best way to address their needs and put them at ease.

Andrew lives in Essex and is a keen swimmer.

Seema graduated from the University of Manchester over 16 years ago and gained her MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010.   

Seema has completed numerous dental courses with a focus towards restorative and aesthetic dentistry. She is also fully trained and experienced in the administration of Botox and Dermal Fillers at the Dr. Bob Khanna Training Institute and Innomed training course. She is an advocate of the "natural look" helping you look younger, refreshed and more confident.    

She likes to spend time her with patients, understanding their treatment goals and personal needs. Her friendly personality and gentle approach puts even anxious patients at ease and has seen her build a very loyal base wherever she has worked.

Raj graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Dental School, London in 2003, with Honours. After spending 13 years in London, he relocated to Bishop's Stortford with his young family in 2012, working in the town for 11 years before moving to Takeley.

Raj has a special ability to put his patients at ease with his warm, friendly and professional manner. He has received numerous letters of gratitude and testimonials and his popularity is evident by his rapidly growing patient base created through personal recommendations. 

Raj completed his Invisalign training in 2011 and has built up a wealth of experience since then. He combines aligning teeth with composite bonding and whitening where appropriate, to achieve amazing minimally invasive results.

He honed his skills having completed several courses in smile design, aesthetic dentistry and facial cosmetics to provide patients with high quality treatments to enable them to feel confident about their smile, appearance and wellbeing. 

Raj has a number of ties to the community in Bishop’s Stortford and enjoys keeping fit, physical assault courses, playing golf, spending time with his family and, (unfortunately) supporting Manchester United!

Mohuya qualified from the University of Birmingham 2009.

She is experienced in all aspects of restorative dentistry, with a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry including veneers and composite bonding and also experienced in Invisalign®.

In 2020, Mohuya completed a Masters in Restorative Dental Practice at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. This is in addition to completing an advanced restorative dental course taught by the highly regarded Dr Paul Tipton.

Mohuya takes pride in her ability to create bespoke smiles to the highest of standards whilst making people feel relaxed and at ease.

Outside of work Mohuya enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures. She is a mother of a very energetic little toddler and finds her daily practice of yoga and meditation certainly helps.

Manish qualified from Kings College London in 2014 and have since worked in general practice and in Dental hospitals. He joined Dental Smiles in 2019.

Manish understands that visiting the dentist can be a nerve-wracking experience, but his gentle approach and calming presence makes a comfortable environment, especially for anxious patients.

He has a keen interest in oral surgery (extractions) and dental implants.

Outside of work, he is a keen photographer, which keeps him busy most weekends.

Haidee is a qualified dental therapist who graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2024, earning the prestigious Golden Scaler Award for dental hygienists. 

She has a special interest in paediatric dentistry and is passionate about helping children feel confident at the dentist.

PERIODONTIST

Rob qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1992. After a spell in general practice in Essex and central London, he started his MSc in Periodontlogy at the Eastman Dental Institute in 1995. In 2001 he was accepted onto the Specialist list. In 2005 he set up a Multi-disciplinary Specialist Practice in Milton Keynes. He lectured locally on a range of Periodontal subjects to his referring colleagues and set up a local study group. Rob sold his practice in 2014 and has been a peripatetic Periodontal Specialist.

Robert combines Practice with a teaching role at Guys Dental Hospital. He lectures in Periodontology as well as helping to run Consultant Clinics. He enjoys supervising students in the care of their patients.

Rob is delighted to receive referrals from his colleagues and is happy to use his expertise to treat patients with all ranges of Periodontal disease.

IMPLANTOLOGIST

Wail Girgis is a Specialist Prosthodontist, he is especially skilled in the replacement of missing teeth with implants and the restoration of the compromised dentition (teeth).     

Wail trained at King's College Hospital Dental School, London and went on to complete an MSc degree in Conservative Dentistry (Distinction) at the Eastman  Dental Hospital, London where he taught thereafter as a clinical lecturer.     

He also went on to teach at the International Centre for Excellence in Dentistry on the Implant Certificate Course and is a member of the International Team for Implantology, for whom he is also a clinical lecturer.

DENTIST – SPECIAL INTEREST IN ENDONTICS

Gan qualified from the London Hospital in 1993 and went on to complete an MSc in Endodontics at Guy’s Hospital in 1999. Since then, he has worked primarily in practice limited to endodontics.

Gan aims to provide high quality Endodontic treatment in conjunction with the referring practitioner, always with a considerate and professional approach.
